Tell us a little about you
Takes 90 seconds. No pressure.
Days built on play, planned with purpose.
Every Little Zebra room runs on a play-based curriculum guided by the national Early Years Learning Framework — joyful on the surface, deeply intentional underneath.
— PLAY-BASED CURRICULUM
Worksheets and drills don’t build curious humans. Hands-in-the-dirt, big-question, follow-the-wonder days do.
Children learn fastest when they are deeply absorbed in play they have chosen. Our educators set up rich provocations, then follow the child’s lead.
A child obsessed with diggers becomes a study of ramps, gravity and measurement. We plan around what lights each group up.
Mixed-age, small-group play builds empathy, negotiation and language — the social skills that matter most before school.
— THE FRAMEWORK
Australia’s Early Years Learning Framework shapes everything we plan. Three words sit at its heart — and at the heart of our days.
Knowing where and with whom you belong — to family, community and place.
The right to simply be a child: to play, to wonder, to rest, to feel.
Growing the skills, identity and confidence to step into what comes next.
Our educators document each child’s learning against the EYLF’s five outcomes, shared with you through your family app.

— ENVIRONMENTS
Our yards are built for big weather and big imaginations — sandpits, mud kitchens, veggie gardens, shade trees and loose parts that become whatever the day needs them to be.
— INDOORS
Inside, you’ll find wood not plastic, soft light not fluorescent glare, and quiet corners for the child who needs a moment. Spaces are arranged so children can find, use and pack away their own tools — independence built into the furniture.

— PARENT COMMUNICATION
We use Storypark to ensure you stay in the loop – without the guilt of missing a moment.
Photos, meals, sleeps and little milestones land on your phone throughout the day.
Your child’s key educator knows them by name, mood and favourite song — and so will you.
Termly snapshots show how your child is tracking against the EYLF outcomes.
— CHILD SAFETY
We are committed to being a Child Safe Organisation. Every child has the right to feel safe, respected and valued – and every adult here shares the responsibility for making that real.
If anything ever worries you about your child’s wellbeing, we want to hear it. Our directors are visible, contactable and take every concern seriously.
— ENROL WITH US
We don’t take enrolment lightly, and we know you don’t either. The best way to know if Little Zebra is right for your family is to come in, walk the rooms, and meet our educators.
