— STARTING CARE

How the first few weeks unfold.

We’ve welcomed hundreds of families. Here’s the gentle path we’ll walk with you.

01

Say hello

Book a tour and meet your child’s future room and educators. We’ll talk through routines, sleep, food and any little quirks we should know.

02

Settle in gently

We offer orientation visits so your child can explore the room with you nearby before their first full day – no cold drop-offs.

03

First day

Pack the bag (we’ll show you what), bring their comfort item, and trust the wobble. Most tears stop before you’ve reached the carpark.

04

Stay connected

Photos and updates land on your family app all day. Call any time – we love a ‘how are they going?’ phone call.

— WHAT TO BRING

Pack light.
We've got the rest.

Nappies, wipes, sunscreen, meals and all the messy-play gear are supplied. Just name everything – Central Queensland is full of identical drink bottles.

Our SunSmart policy

It’s Queensland – hats are non-negotiable. We supply broad-spectrum sunscreen and reapply through the day, and our yards are richly shaded.

— MEALS

Five fresh meals a day, cooked on-site.

Good food fuels good days. Our cook prepares a seasonal, dietitian-informed menu from scratch – and yes, it’s all included in your fees.

— FEES, CCS & FREE KINDY

The money side, made clear.

Two kinds of government help can dramatically lower what you pay. Most families use both.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

The Australian Government’s payment toward your care fees, based on your household income and activity. It’s paid directly to us, lowering your weekly gap.

Free Kindy

Queensland funds the Kindergarten year for every eligible child – no cost to you, delivered inside our approved program.

— FAQS

Questions parents ask us most.

Can’t see yours? Call the centre or pop it in the enquiry form — we answer every message ourselves.

Ask us anything

Both centres are open Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 6:00pm, closed on public holidays. Plenty of room around early starts and late pick-ups.

The Child Care Subsidy is the Australian Government’s main payment to help with the cost of care. Most families qualify – the amount depends on your household income, activity and the type of care. We help you understand your estimate and the subsidy is paid directly to us, reducing your weekly fees.

Yes – all meals are included. A cooked breakfast, morning tea, a hot lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack, freshly prepared on-site by our cook with a rotating seasonal menu.

We cater for allergies, intolerances and cultural or family food preferences. We build an individual plan with you on enrolment, and our kitchen and educators work to it every day.

We meet or better the national ratios: 1:4 for under-2s, 1:5 for 2–3 year-olds, and 1:11 for over-3s. Familiar key educators stay with your child’s room where possible.

Our approved Kindergarten program runs inside long day care hours. We offer flexible 9, 10 or 12 hour sessions to help maximise your subsidy whilst providing long day care hours for extra flexibility.

We follow Queensland Health exclusion guidelines to keep everyone well. If your child becomes unwell during the day we’ll call you to collect them, and we’ll always keep them comfortable until you arrive.
